The relationship between Zahra Buhari and Adekunle Gold is
beyond the entertainment industry as both of them have been
friends even before President Buhari came into power in 2015.
They are both advocates of sickle cell. They were named brand
ambassadors at large for the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF)
in Nigeria.
The singer once revealed that it was Zahra that gave him the
name of his album, gold, when he sought her advise.
